This blog — is the next version of my previous personal place to store and share useful notes.
I have used blogger.com platform from Google, and it was more than 7-8 years ago. Since then “blogger” has not been updated by Google, and I have felt that they will shut it down eventually as they did with any other unpopular product. Google never does anything for free, unfortunately.

I didn’t write there for a long time.

For the last 4-5 years, I am doing less by myself more by my team. I had a lot of meetings, discussing things and how they should be done in the right way.

I have decided to continue my writings and share my thoughts on some problems.

They will be either in English, sometimes in Russian.

I have been looking for a reliable and straightforward blog engine to host on my own, something like “setup and forget” and finally found Aegea. I like it. It has everything I need to write my posts, share ideas, code syntax highlighting and design simplicity.

I have also considered Ghost, but it is not that simple as I need, but still not bad, if you like to get your hands dirty.
I was also playing with Notion — it was very promising with their desktop and mobile apps, but I didn’t like it. The way you write, share stories, even URLs, was so different for me.

I wanted something simple.
